While the society as a whole will benefit from greener building practices, the cost of such bruilding will have to be born by theconsumers. The key therefore is to reduce the cost of green buildings eventually in the meanwhile promoting awareness so that consumers are willing to pay a little extra for the greener credentials.

The seminar aims to bring together the key players in the construction industry in Kerala. This includes builders, developers, architects, engineers, academicians, policy makers, suppliers of green technologies and building products and finally companies which render consultancy services on green buildings.
